By the way of systematic investigation of resources, the textual research of materials and the study of specimen this article sums up and sorts out the research results concerning the variety, geographic distribution and habitat of medicinal plant Lysimachia L. and its curative effect among the people of Guizhou Province. In the province, there are 30 species of this medicinal plant, of which 4 are new ones, 3 endemic and quasi-endemic ones and 1 rare one, all of which are highly worth development and application.
