GEOLOGIC CORRELATION METHOD OF OFFSHORE MULTI-WAVE AND MULT1COMPONENT SEISMIC DATA

In view of research and application, the multiwave and mullicomponent seismic exploration is a very efficient and promising technique during exploration and development of offshore oil and gas. The geologic correlation of multiwave and mullicomponent seismic data is the most important and fundamental work. We reviewed and developed a series of horizon correlation methods applicable for offshore P-and S-wave data according to the characters of the multi-wave seismic data acquired in Yinggehai Basin. This paper will describe the method in detail.
