EXPLORATIONAL PERSPECTIVE OF LITHOLOGIC GAS POOL IN THE SANHU DEPRESSION OF THE CHAIDAMU BASIN, NW, CHINA
|
Abstract:
There is the commercial exploration perspective of lithologic biogas pool in the Sanhu depression of the Chaidamu basin, NW, China. The multicyclic tectonic movement, multiperiodic raising and falling of lake watertable have provided the basis of materials for the forming of each kind of lithologic gas pool. Biogaseous generation has supplied plentiful gaseous source for a long time. The larger-area distribution of sandstone layers with good porosity has provided the migratory concentration condition. The northern part of the Sanhu depression is steep, and yet the sently dipping is formed in the south. Owing to the depression has rapidly been subsided as well as the margin has relatively been uplifted many flexural fold bandes have been formed in the northern clinothem. Lithologic biogaseous pools are calsified to two main types that contain abrupt slope and gentle slope belts.
