Abstract:

In BD 13 area, Qiongdongnan basin, South China Sea, Seismic anomaly body of Sanya formation I Section with wider abnormal range than structure size, which may be a gas-bearing lithologic trap formed under a structural background, has good conditions for hydrocarbon accumulation. To determine the potential gas resource, seismic inversion on pseudo-sonic curve combined with spectrum imaging techniques were used to preliminarily predict reservoir thickness and lateral distribution; on the basis of above work, AVO, AVD, DR, decay gradient were carried out to conduct hydrocarbon identification on reservoir, and multi-information syneretizing technology of decay gradient was used to quantify gas resource scale. It shows the seismic anomaly sandbody of sanya formation in BD 13 area has large gas resource potential and good exploration prospect.
