Gas hydrate deposited in marine sediment with low temperature and high pressure is a very important marine energy in the future. The exploration and exploitation of gas hydrate is a hotspot in many countries. Besides geophysical methods, geochemical methods are becoming more and more important. Based on domestic and overseas research results, the following methods are summarized in recognizing marine gas hydrate, gas anomalies detection method, liquid geochemical method, stabile isotope geochemical method, acid-degassing method, etc.
