PROSPECT AND PROGRESS FOR OIL AND GAS IN DEEP WATERS OF THE WORLD, AND THE POTENTIAL AND PROSPECT FOREGROUND FOR OIL AND GAS IN DEEP WATERS OF THE SOUTH CHINA SEA
世界深水油气勘探进展与南海深水油气勘探前景

There are abundant oil and gas resources beneath deep water basements of the world.In recent years,the deep-water oil-and-gas has become a hotspot of the prospecting and exploitation for oil-and-gas and a new window for increasing the reserves and output of oil-and-gas around the world,also the inevitable tendency of marine oil-and-gas prospecting and an important strategical bull's-eye of looking for supersede oil-and-gas resources.The deepwater area of the northern South China Sea slope,a new area of Chinese prospecting and researchment for oil-and-gas,is located on a parapassive margin.In this area,we consider that there are essential conditions for forming medium-sized or large-scale oil-and-gas fields,should be Chinese important strategical bull's-eye of looking for supersede oil-and-gas resources,and of increasing the reserves and output of oil-and-gas,based on the factors such as hydrocarbon source rocks,oil-and-gas reservoir-capping assembled,trap and migration conditions,etc. Nevertheless,how about on earth are the potential,scale and foreground for the oil-and-gas resources in the area? No one knows the details of these key problems now.The authors carried out some discussions on the key problems in this paper,based on a great deal of geological data and prevenient research achievements,in order to accelerate the prospecting of oil-and-gas in the deepwaters of the South China Sea.
