The paper adopts some methods such as gas composition,carbon isotope,light hydrocarbon,middle-molecular hydrocarbon and biomarker toillustrate whole-hydrocarbon geochemical characteristics and genetics and possible source of oiland gas from Xujiahe group of Chuanzhong-Chuannan transitional belt.The result shows that oil and gas from Xujiahe group mainly comes from autogenic coal source rock,and bind is main.Genetics of natural gas is mainly mature humic mothermaterial,small condensate oil and crude oil is mainly mixed mode organic matter in it,hasn't characteristics of typical coal formed oil.
