Effects of Sanjie Zhentong Tablet on Experimental Dysmenorrhea Mice Model
|
Abstract:
This study was aimed to observe effects of Sanjie Zhentong Tablet (SJZTT) on experimental dysmenorrhea mice models. Isolated normal uterus models, oxytocin-induced mice, estrogen and oxytocin induced writhing reaction mice models were prepared. Then, effects of different concentrations of SJZTT on mice models were investigated. The results showed that when the concentration of SJZTT is more than 6.4 mg/mL, it can significantly inhibit the spontaneous contractions of the mouse uterus. When the concentration of SJZTT is more than 1.6 mg/ml, the SJZTT can inhibit oxytocin-induced isolated uterus of mouse. The dose-effect relationship is that when the dose of SJZTT is between 0.32 g/kg and 1.28 g/kg, it can significantly reduce the writhing reaction times of oxytocin-induced mice. It was concluded that SJZTT has a good treatment effect of both in vitro and in vivo dysmenorrhea model. The mechanism of anti-dysmenorrhea for SJZTT is to relieve ischemia caused by contraction of smooth muscles in the uterus.
