Effects of Hua-zhuo-xing-xue Decoction on Cerebral Infarction Volume and Cellular Apoptosis
化浊行血汤对局灶性脑缺血再灌注大鼠的脑梗死体积和细胞死亡的影响

This study tries to observe the effects and molecular mechanism of Hua- zhuo- xing- xue decoction on treating ischemic cerebral injury. We created the middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) rats to study the focal cerebral ischemic. In order to evaluate the therapeutic effects of Hua - zhuo- xing- xue decoction, we measured the changes of MCAO rats in nervous function impairment, cerebral infarction volume, apoptosis, and necrosis rate of brain cells. We found that Hua- zhuo- xing- xue decoction could significantly improve nerve function impairment in MCAO rats, reducing cerebral infarction volume, and slowing down the apoptosis in ischemic ambitus. We believe that Hua- zhuo- xingxue decoction is desirable for treating ischemic cerebral lesion by protecting the never system.
