ANALYZING ON MEASUREMENTS TO RESERVOIR PROTECTION AND PRODUCTION-INCREASE IN YINGJISU SAG IN TARIM BASIN
|
Abstract:
It is the first breakthrough of petroleum exploration that the high production of hydrocarbon flow was obtained from the Jurassic reservoir beds in the wildcat well Yingnan 2 in Yingjisu sag in Tarim basin. The good hydrocarbon shows were acquired subsequently from the Jurassic and Silurian reservoir beds that were fairly heterogeneous and were seriously damaged in the wells Longkou 1 and Yingnan 2. Based on experimentation and micro examination of the cores, the conclusions are reached that the water locking is the main reason of the reservoir damage and that the poorer the physical properties of reservoir beds, the more seriously damaged the reservoir beds. The corresponding drilling techniques for reservoir protection and the nitrogen gas/sand stimulation treatment for production increase are proposed.
