Conservation of Rare and Endangered Germplasm Resources of Medicinal Materials in Farm Gene Pool of Beijing Botanic Garden of Medicinal Plants

23 rare and endangered species at the national level have been moved to other proper places for conservation and 19 of them are well conserved, of which 11 have stepped into the stage of generative propagation and are able to supply seeds. For the conservation of more important medicinal plants such measures that each plant is possessed of several of its wild species have been taken and each of the species has to have a considerable quantity of its individuals.
