Traditional Chinese medicine has already formed its original knowledge - based system and culture in its development. In the times of knowledge - based economy in which knowledge taken as wealth is bringing about economic benefit for its creators and is protected by laws concerned, it has become a significant research project to furnish due protection to the creators or obliges of the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, a knowlege which has left by the history and will keep developing. This article tries its best to expound the conception and domain of the traditional knowledge of Chinese medicine, which is viewed as the target of right and obligation or the object of protection.
