Qi, a core of traditional Chinese medicine, is thought having both physiological and pathological bearings. Human body is made up of cells. Cells communication is a sophisticated interaction between cells, or between cells and environment. Both theories of Qi and cell communication work on same biological phenomena, though from different angles. However, they can complement each other. Theory of Qi may offer some insights to cell communication research, while cell communication allows Qi to see the essence of its theory.
