Determination of Residual Stress by Using the Sandwich Holograpfiic Interferometry

In this paper, a calibrating experiment is first conducted for imitation of residual stress by using sandwich holographic Interferometry. Then, the residual stresses of welding seam and casting are measured in this way. The results, obtained from quantitative analysis by numerical method, agree with those from theoretical analysis.
