Basic Problems to Be Solved in Dialectical Normalization of Traditional Chinese Medicine

This article maintains that problems existing in two aspects in the dialectical normalization of traditional Chinese medicine under the prerequisite of relying on the diseases in Western medicine should be solved: One is the normalization of the symptoms of diseases and the signs induced by diseases, including the normalization of terms of symptoms, the normalization of logic relationship between symptoms, the normalization of gradation of signs induced by diseases and the normalization of measuring methods for signs, and the other includes the normalization of the syndromes of diseases; the normalization of how to specifically clear up the basic constitution of syndromes of diseases; the definition of the component ratio of syndromes of diseases; the normalization of the constitution of symptoms of the syndromes of diseases; the normalization of clinical diagnosis of the syndromes of diseases in TCM; the confirmation of the basic evolutionary laws of the syndromes of diseases in TCM; the identification of the division of stages, the classification and the division of types of diseases in Western medicine and their corresponding relationship with those of diseases in traditional Chinese medicine and so on. In the methods of normalization consideration must be given to logic analysis, mathematical statistics and data digging.
