Studies on Hemostatic Effect and Component Differences of Carbonized Cirsium Japonicum DC from Different Regions
|
Abstract:
This study was aimed to evaluate the difference of hemostatic effect and components of Carbonized Cirsium japonicum DC from different regions. Kunming mice, half male and half female, were randomly divided into six groups, which are the positive control group, blank control group, Zhangshu Carbonized C. japonicum DC group, Anhui Carbonized C. japonicum DC group, Hunan Carbonized C. japonicum DC group, and Hebei Carbonized C. japonicum DC group. Each group received an oral administration for three consecutive days. An hour after the last oral administration, the bleeding time and coagulation time of each mouse was checked. High pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) was used to study the difference of compounds in C. japonicum DC from different regions. The results showed that Carbonized C. japonicum DC from Zhangshu and Hunan has stronger hemostatic effect than Carbonized C. japonicum DC from Hebei. The C. japonicum DC from Anhui showed no hemostatic effect and even promoted the bleeding. It was concluded that there were differences of hemostatic effect and compounds of Carbonized C. japonicum DC from different regions.
