The attributive channel hypothesis and the modernization of traditional chinese medicine

In this paper,we pointed out some pro blems in methodology of traditional chinese medicine research and discu ssed the progress in the attributive channel study.For the modernization of trad itional chinese medicine,we need not only to use the theory of traditional chinese me dicine as a guideline,but also to tak e advantage of the means of modern science and technology.Attributive channel hypothesis is one of the characters of t raditional chinese medicine.The ma in point of this hypothesis is to give some explanations for the pharmacological mechani sm of each drug(herbs,etc.)in traditional chinese medicine.As part of the theory of the traditional chinese medicine,it describes how drugs target org ans.We think the study of attributive chann el is very important for the standard ization,normalization and the modernization of traditional chinese medicine.
