An Experimental Study on the Viscoelastic Property of Electmrheological Fluid

In the present paper, the visco elastic of ER fluid are investigated experimentally. The creep characteristic of ER fluid is measured by using a rheometer, and by using the forced oscillating experiment. The variation of the shear modulus of ER fluid subjected to various stress amplitude and frequency is obtained. The complex shear modulus, storage modulus and loss modulus of ER fluid are also given for different electric field intensities.
