The Affection of Boundary Conditions to the Structure''s Stresses in the Cable-Girder Anchorage Zone of Steel Cable-Stayed Bridges
|
Abstract:
With the background of Suzhou-nantong Yangtze River Bridge,a cable stayed bridge, full scale static load model test of the cable-girder anchorage zone was carried out.The results of model tests were compared with space finite element analysis. The detailed stress distribution and deformation in the real structure and test model as well as the reliability of calculations were investigated. What's more, based on the model test and theoretical analysis, numerical simulations were performed. The affection of boundary conditions on the stress in the beam and the mechanical behavior in the cable-girder anchorage were studied. The stress distributions of the real structure under different constraint conditions were calculated. Some useful conclusions which are beneficial to the design of the cable stayed bridges are obtained. The results of model test and the space finite element calculations are recommended as references for designs of similar structure test.
