Recognition and Drawing of the Isochromatics and Isoclinics by A Computer
|
Abstract:
A general purpose polariscope provided wich a signal-collecting device made of Charge-coupled photodiodes and a specially programmed computer constitutes a system which can accomplish a real-time dispose of photoelastic images. Arranged in a line, CCPD-1024 is capable of a simultaneous collection of light intensity on a sectior of a model. And thus the fringe position of isochromatics or isoclinics can be read by the computer from the distribution diagram of light intensity, While CCPD is scanning to the model, the computer is recording the position of isochromatics and isoclinics on each section and drawing a fringe pattern which givesa full-field photoelastic image.
