Computer Simulation on the Temperature Field of Gas Explosion and Lab Measurement for the Flame Thickness
|
Abstract:
The flame thickness in gas explosion were investigated by a lab explosion, and the temperature field in the experiment was observed by computer simulation. The result shows that the barriers and plastic film used in the experiment have a great influence on the flame thickness. When barriers exist, the flame formed in gas explosion would decrease in thickness, and when the plastic film is near the explosion source, the flame would increase in thickness. It is aslo found that the maximum temperature happened near the barriers, and then, the temperature would decrease.
