Advanced Experimental Mechanics in Modern. Technology
现代技术中的高级实验力学

This paper outlines the emerging system of theories and techniques of analytical and experimental procedures which is called advanced experimental mechanics. The strong interdependence of requiremencs of modern technology and modern societies, recent developments in physics, modern scientific trends in development of constitutive materials equations, recent development in analytical mechanics, and the concepts and procedures of advanced experimental mechanics is illustrated by examples. It is shown that it is very practical in engineering research to accept the modern scientific methodology, to test the chosen approach against the requirements of the correspondence principle in science, and to assess critically the influence of the momentarily prevailing paradigms.
