Traditional Chinese Medicine and Information Science
浅析中医与信息科学

Starting from the research on modernization of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), this paper discusses the relationship between TCM research and infor mation science in three aspects: (l) the similarity between the TCM mode of thinking and the law of information activity; (2) the applicability of the form and content of information science to the systematic thinking of TCM; and (3) the feasibility and practice of information technology in the realization of TCM modernization. Information science is also a powerful means to promote the development of TCM as well as a feasible starting point in the research of modernization of TCM theories.
