Analysis for the Oscillation of the Matching Pressure in an Isotropic Light Piston Tunnel
|
Abstract:
The compressed air in the tube is used for the air source of the working section of an isotropic light piston tunnel. If the pressure of the air is maintained in steady conditions during the running time, this pressure is called matching pressure. This case will be achieved on the assumption of zero piston mass. The influence of a finite piston mass on the oscillation of the matching pressure in the tube is investigated in this paper.
