Measurement of Stress Rate in Hopkinson Bar According to Principle of Magnetostriction Converse Effect

The wave forms for the rate of change of stress in a Hopkinson bar subjected to strock of different velocities are recorded by non-contact method according to Villari effect. The mathod of calibrating senseing device is also introduced.
