An Experiment Study on Fluid-Mixing in Twisted Pipe
扭管混合实验研究

The chaotic motion of fluid in twisted pipes is examined by experiment.In the experiment, smoke is used as the indicator for visualizing the chaotic advection pattern. The pattern is then compared with numerical analysis result.It is found that the fluid in twisted pipe is heavily stretched and folded, which shows a Horseshoe Map pattern in pipe section.
