Synthetic Expected Bayesian Estimation of the Failure Rate

The paper gives a new estimation method of reliability parameters, which is named as synthetic expected Bayesian estimation method . In the case of zero failure data, the definition of expected Bayesian est imation and the expected Bayesian estimation of failure rate are given. After introducing failure information, the expected Bayesian estimation of failure rate is given, the synthetic expected Bayesian estimation for failure rate and other reliability parameters are given also on the base. Finally, calculations are performed regarding to a practical problem, which show that the synthetic expected Bayesian method is feasible and easy to operate.
