Plant plays a very important role in constructed wetlands, including interception of particulate matter, removal of pollutants, stabilization of the surface of substance, delay of snow cementing, maintenance of the micro-environment, the value of ecological aesthetics and economy. While choosing the plant, right kind, bearing dirty ability, detergent power, ornamental value and species that could rationally collocated were all considered. This article represented the function of plants, plant selection and the proper collocations in constructed wetlands. There are still many problems in application to be solved, so the relating perspective is prospected in this paper.
