Relationship between Morphometric attributes to bodyweight of Two stocks of juvenile crab, Eriocheir sinensis

Four Morphometric attribute of two Chinese mitten crab Eriocheir sinensis were measured, such as carapace length, carapace width , IV peraeopodmerus length and body weight, with the correlations analysis and regression analysis, Major morphometric attributes that affect the bodyweight of juvenile crab were determined, the differences of the carapace ratio between two groups were compared. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between each with bodyweight varied significantly , and the carapace length has strong correlation with the bodyweight in the artificial propagation stocks, while in the wild nature stocks is carapace width. The multiple regression equation to get the body weight were established. and also the wild nature stocks carapace looks like more square, or the artificial propagation stocks ones gets more elliptic .
