The biology and conservation of Taiwania cyptomerioides

The paper summarizes the earlier works on the biological features of Taiwania Cryptomerioides including exomorphology, internal structure of shoot apex, leaf, bark, wood, pollen and chromosome, development of reproductive organ. Moreover, literature on tissue culture, geological distribution, the causes for making the plants to the threaten state have been analysed and effective measures of conservation have been put forward as well.
