The effects of different feed on the growth and some physiological-biochemical index in Monopterus albus
|
Abstract:
Abstract: The experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of different feed (the proportion of ice fresh trash fish and formulated diet) on the growth and some physiological-biochemical index in Monopterus albus. Five treatments with formulated diet proportion were 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 90%. After 14 weeks experiment ,the results showed that no significant differences were found between the weight gain and survival rate; the content of crude protein and crude fat with the feed increased trend were increased firstly and then decreased, and both of them were the lowest in 90% feed group; but there were no significant different of ash and moisture in each group; All groups serum of GOT, GPT, triglycerides, total cholesterol and blood glucose were significantly different (P <0.05); Compared with completely fed ice fish (0% group) , the other groups serum of GOT and GPT activities were significantly reduced, and 75% formulated diet of serum GOT, GPT (50% group excluded), total cholesterol were the lowest in all groups. Therefore, the result showed that Monopterus albus was appropriate to fed with 25% ice fresh trash fish and 75% formulated diet.
