The Effect of Printing-Dying Sewage on the Vitellogenin and Metallothionein Level of gibel carp (Carassius auratus)
|
Abstract:
The effect of printing-dying sewage on reproduction indexes and metallothionein (MT) level in carassius aurctlus was examed. Gibel carps were randomly divided into 2 groups (three eplicates for each group, 50 fish per eplicate), Control group was cultivated in pool water ,and treatment groups were cultivated in pool water with printing-dying sewage at concentration of 0.1%, 0.2% respectively. The test lasted for 40d. The result was obtained that vitellogenin (VTG) content and liver somatic index(LSI) of 0.1% group were significantly higher than that of control group (p<0.05), VTG content of 0.2% group was significantly lower than that of control group (p<0.05) after 4 weeks. The printing-dying sewage had no significant effect on gonado-gomatic index(GSI). The MT concentration in liver of 0.1% group was significantly higher than that of control group at 2, 3, 4 weeks respectively, and that of 0.2% group was higher than that of control group at 3 weeks. The printing-dying sewage had no significant effect on the MT concentration in kidney. These results showed that printing-dying sewage could affect breeding characteristics and the MT level of tissues in gibel carp.
