Present Situation of Ecological Environment and Strategy of Sustainable Development in major Fishery water in Republic of Kazakhstan
|
Abstract:
The present situations of major fishery water environment in Kazakhstan were analyzed, and the results showed that the major fishery water of the country was subject to different levels of pollution. The pollutants were fertilizers, pesticides, petroleum products, heavy metals (mercury, copper, cobalt, zinc, and iron), phenol, DDT, some nitrogen compounds, chlorides and sulfates. These pollutants came from two main channels of domestic and foreign (neighboring countries). In other words, both domestic and foreign pollutants accumulated in large water body of the Republic of Kazakhstan through international rivers. They polluted the major fishery environment, made negative impact on bio-safety, and led to exhausted biological resources. Thus, the domestic researchers should carry out systematic research on the fishery water environment. The authorities also should take the standardized measures of ecological security and implement governance according to law to prevent both domestic and foreign pollutants from entering into fishery water. Through cooperating in major fishery water and biological resources protection jointly by Kazakhstan and neighboring countries to ensure the sustainable development of main fishery ecological environment in Kazakhstan and create the base for protection and rational utilization of ecological environment and natural resources owned by mankind.
