Researching Advancement and Prospect of Soil Ecotoxicology
|
Abstract:
Soil ecotoxicology provides a theoretical basis for ecological risk assessment of contaminated soils and control of soil pollution. Research on ecotoxicological effects and their molecular mechanisms of toxic substances in soil environment is the kernel content of soil-ecotoxicological studies. Thus, some new researching progresses in ecotoxicological effects resulted from stress of heavy metals and organic pollutants and their joint stress in soil ecosystems were firstly summarized. Then various biomarkers related to ecotoxicological effects of contaminated soils were systematically presented, and basic principles and significance of molecular diagnosis in contaminated soil ecotoxicology were expounded and its researching trends were analyzed, on the basis of theoretical anatomy of molecular ecotoxicological effects of contaminated soils at population levels. Finally, future developments in the field of soil ecotoxicology were prospected.
