Investigation and Assessment of planktonic population in Siminghu Reservoir
四明湖水库浮游生物现状调查及评价

An investigation on abiotic environmental factors, planktonic population and the potential fishery production was implemented in 2006-2007. The result has shown that the water in the eutrophic-type Siminghu Reservoir is between Class II-IV. The average biomass for the phytoplankton and zooplankton is 10.2mg/L and 2.36 mg/L respectively. The potential fishery yield is assessed at 992.25Kg/hec.
