PHOTOACOUSTIC ABSORPTION CHARACTERISTICS OF SUNE-1, CNE-2,AND CNE-1 HUMAN NASOPHARYNGEAL CARCINOMA CELL LINESMEASURED USING PHOTOACOUSTIC TECHNIQUES
|
Abstract:
Purpose: To investigate optical absorption characteristics of human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines. Methods: Standardized photoacoustic spectroscopy and optical absorption coefficient of SUNE-1,CNE-2,and CNE-1 were measured respectively using double beam standardized photoacoustic technique. Results:(1)in the range from 4000? to 6000?,optical absorption coefficient of three cell lines are in the following order: SUNE-1>CNE-2>CNE-1;(2)At wavelength 4200?, the mean values of relative photoacoustic signal for SUNE-1, CNE-2, and CNE-1 are 1.36, 1.20,and 1.10 respectively, showing a singnificant difference(p=0.012). Conclusion: Human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell lines SUNE-1, CNE-2, and CNE-1 have different photoacoustic spectroscopic characteristics. This study lays a foundation of further research on biological behaviors of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
