DEPENDENCY OF MASKING EFFECTS IN EARLY AUDITORY EVOKED POTENTIALS ON STIMULUS PARAMETERS
|
Abstract:
The relationship between the masked degree of a response to a given click in a click traick and the number, interval and intensity of clicks before that click has been studied in this paper. The experiments showed the following facts:1) The more the number, the stronger the masking effect, but the effect would trend to saturation when the number was big enough, and would not increase further more with the number;2) the smaller the interval, the stronger the effect; 3) the bigger the intensity, the stronger the effect.
