EFFECT OF ANISODAMINE ON THE ACTIVITY OF RECONSTITUTED (Na~++K~+)-ATPase
|
Abstract:
The effect of anisodamine on the activity of rat brain(Na+ + K+) - ATPase reconstituted with different kinds of phospholipid by cholatedialysis have been studied. Results show that the activity recovery of (Na++ K+ ) - ATPase is maximum, medium and minimum when reconstituted with soybean phosph-olipids, acidic phospholipid of PG and neutral phospholipid of DPPC respectively. Anisodamine shows an inhibitory effect on the hydrolysis activity of (Na+ + K+ )-ATPase reconstituted with DPPC or soybean phospholipid,But the drug, in the reconstituted system with PG, stimulates the (Na++ K+) - ATPase activity.
