MEASUREMENT OF SHEAR INDUCED PLATELET AGGREGATION (SIPA)BY THE METHOD OF LASER SCATTERING TURBIDITY

According to the principle of scattering turbidity, based on the Cytorheometer LG-B- 190 of Beijing Steellex Instrument Co., an apparatus of measuring SIPA is developed.Both shear rate and shear duration can be accurately controlled by a software. The process of SIPA can be continously monitored. The apparatus would be a powerful tool for studies of the mechanism of SIPA and of anti-SIPA pharmacology.
