A DYNAMIC MODEL OF HIV INFECTION
|
Abstract:
In consideration of the facts that human immunodefioiency virus (HIV) may infect and kill the T4 cells, bud from the membrane of infected cells and the fusion of infected cells with normal T4 cells, in this paper we present a mathematical model. Using this model we studied the dynamic behavior of the HIV infection. The results show that at the incubation period the concentrations of both infected cells and virus come to a temporal stationary states. At the folloxing expression period the concentration of Virus increases significantly and normal T4 cells decrease. these restlts may give an explanation of the real course of HIV infection.
