REGULAR CHANGE OF THE ANGULAR SENSITIVITY OF THE RETINULA CELLS IN LOCUST COMPOUND EYE
|
Abstract:
The angular sensitivities of the retinula cells in the different regions (dorsal, side and frontal regions) of the compound eye in locust have been measured by intercellar recording method at different adapted states (dark and three different light adapted states) during a 24-hour period (morring, afternoon and night). Changes of that sensitivities are concomitant with the changes of the regions, the adapted states and the structuctural rhythm of the compound eye in locust.
