Abstract:

Biological evolution can be viewed as the formation of ordered structure by self-organization under the driven of mutations. It studies only the results of natural evolution, but can not analyze the process quantitatively. In this paper, the framework of evolutionary computation was implemented to construct a model of natural evolution. The function of self-organization in the evolution was analyzed in the genetic, individual and population levels. The differentiation of population and formation of new species under random initial condition and breaking of environment was simulated. The geographic influence and the distribution of transitional species were analyzed, and the number of species under limited region was simulated.
