THE STUDY OF BLOOD RHEOLOGY AND BIOCHEMICAL BASIS IS EXPERIMENTAL HYPERCHOLESTEROLEMIC RABBITS
|
Abstract:
In this study we have investigated the reletionship between rheological prop-ecties of blood and serum cholesterol concentration(SCH in the experimental hypercholesterolemic rabbits. The results indicate that rheological properties of blood, mole ratio of cholesterol to phospholipid(Ch P1) in RBC membrane and SCH are kept stable in control during this experiment In hypercholeterolemic, the SCH is elevated sharply with feeding time, whole blood and plasma viscosity are significantly increased( P<0.01), RBC membrane Ch P1 increased by 23%, RBC deformability decreased by 27%, and fluorescence polarization(P) of RBC membrane decreased by 31% after 12 weeks. The correlation analysis suggests that membrane Ch P1 is positive correlation with SCH r= 0.983. P<0.02 merriorane fluorescence polarization P is post tive correlation with membrane Ch P1=0.99-.P <0.01. RBC deformability is negative correlation with membrane fluorescence polanzation P r=-0.999,P<0.01.
