STUDIES ON THE INTERACTION OF PHENYLALANINE AND ITS RARE EARTH COMPLEXES WITH DIPALMITOYLPHOSPHATIDYLCHOLINE LIPOSOSMES
|
Abstract:
The effect of phenylalanine(Phe) and its rare earth complexes (Ln(phe)cl3.6H2O) on thephase transition of dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine valides studied by calorimetry (DSC) and Infrared spectroscopy. The results show that both rare earth complexes ofthe and rare earth ions (Ln3 ) caused a considerable increase in the gel to liquid crystallinephase transition temperature(Tm) for DPPC liposomes and an increase in the order degree ofconformation of acyl chain. The effect of Ln3 was stronger than that of Ln(Phe)Cl3.6H2O.FT-IR study on DPPC CaSt-dry film was similar to the above results which indicated that both Ln(Phe)Cl3.6H2O and Ln3 had electrostatic interactions with DPPC, hilt Phe hadn't. Thecooperative band of Ln(Phe)Cl3.6H2O is inic form.
