COMPARISON OF CHEMILUMINESCENCE RESPONSE BETWEEN POLYMORPHONUCLEAR LEUBOCYTE AND LYMPHOCYTE IN HUMAN BLOOD
|
Abstract:
A comparative study between lymphocyte chemiluminesrence (Ly-CL) response and polymorphonudear leukocyte che miluminesrence (PMN-CL) response in kuman blood was investigated. Results showed that the net peaks of PMN-CL stimulated by concanavalin A (Con A), phytohaemagglutinin (PHA), staphy-lococcus protein A (SPA) and opsonized zymosan (OZ) were 3-10 times higher than those of Ly-CL, but the net peak of Ly-CL stimulated by sheep anti-human IgG was higher than that of PMN-CL. The effect of oxygen free radicals (ORs) Scavergers on PMN-CL and Ly-CL indicated that L-histidine inhibited obviously both PMN-CL and Ly-CL. However, inhibiting rates (IR) of Ly-CL by sodium benzoate and mannitol were higher than IR of PMN-CL and IR of Ly-CL by supcroxide dis mutase (SOD) and catalase were lower than IR of PMN-CL. Those data suggest that the molecular mechanism of PMN-CL response may not be similar to that of Ly-CL response.
