QUANTITATIVE SIMULATION STUDIES OF MYOCARDIUM CONDUCTION VELOCITY ON ECG RHYTHM
|
Abstract:
Electrocardiofield redults from the electric activity of myocardium. Exciting conduction Velocity of myocardium cells is one of main parameters which determine the body surface potential map (BSPM) and electrocardiography (ECG). Because of the difficulties in changing the parameters experimentally, the clinical quantitative knowledge of mycoaldium electricity affection on ECG rhythm is very poor. This study described the quantitative simulation of exciting conduction velocity affection on cardiac rhythm with three dimensions realistic torso-heart geometry models. The results show that the change of conduction velocity of region myocardium is not obvious in a certain range, but it becomes critical when the change is out of the range.
