ACTS OF PHOTOSENSIZATION OF HPD IN PHOSPHOLIPID MEMBRANE
|
Abstract:
The photosensitization dynamic process of the effects of HPD on target substance, the pathway of the damage on membranes and the effects of various factors has been studied using methods of ESR, fluorescence spectroscopy and electron microsope freeze-fracture. The experimental results show that the photosensitization dynamic process of HPD is colsely related to the target molecules, changing with different target substances. The Major pathway for HPD inducing damage of cell membrane is possibly due to the peroxidation of unsaturated fatty acids in phospolipid. Double bond is the important target site. But it is not the only way of membrane damage.HPD photosensitization may also destroy the arrangement and conformation of target molecules, leading to the disorder and damage of the cell membrane structure. The results indicate that bovine albumin can increase the HPD photosensitization. Besides, HPD photosensitization is not only related to the conformation and condensed state of HPD, but also influenced by temperature, time of irradiation, HPD concentration and target substance concentration etc.
