THE KINETICS OF ANTIMYCIN BINDING TO SUCCINATE-CYTOCHROME C REDUCTASE
抗霉素A抑制琥珀酸细胞色素c还原酶的动力学特征

The kinetic property of antimycin A binding to succinate- cytochrome c re-ductase in the presence of substrate has been studied bythe method developed by Tsou in 1965. Two phases of binding are observed in different conditions. For explaining this two phasese behavior a kinetic mechanism of a inhibitor irriver-sibly binding to a dimeric enzyme has been suggested and a equation derived. The kinetics of antimycin A binding to succinate-cytochrome c reductase are in agreement with this equation quantitatively. This result suggests that the succinate-cytochrome c reductase is a dimer.
