A NEURAL NETWORK MODEL WITH DYNAMIC NEURONS I.MODEL AND ALGORITHM

Abstract:
Based upon the fundamental facts about information processing by living neurons, a dynamic model of neural natwork was proposed. The feature of this model was that the output activity of basic unit of the network was considesed as a dynanic process of neuron discharging instead of static characteristics used in most current neural network models. The equations of the model, corresponding to postsynaptic potentials, receptor potentials, initial segment graded potentials and the impulse train along the axon respectively, have been given. Every equation has its physiological meaning. To solve the equations numerically, a recurrent algorithm and its corresponding flow chart was also given in this paper. Therefore, this model is ready for further theoretical analysis, and computer simulation.
