THE PHOTOSTATIONARY STATES OF BACTERIORHODOPSIN AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
|
Abstract:
Several photostationary states (PSS) of bacteriorhodopsin in the oriented purple membrane thin films may be set under illumination with different wavelengths (in the process of measure ment) and 570 n m (or 640 nm) , of measuring beam of Dichrographe 3 alternately, at room temperature, whtch depended on many factors, such as relatve humidity and wavelength of illumi- nation. Different PSS differ in visible circular dithroic spectra. They may be considered to use in designing and making molecular devices.
